Junior Director Special Project-Special Olympics and Intellectual Disabilities

SuperGirls-BAM!

This will be awarded to the Junior Club and/or Juniorette Club that overall best incorporates the Junior Director’s Special Program focusing on Special Olympics (including intellectual disabilities) by fundraising, in-kind support or volunteering at an athletic event for this population in their community(programs that prepare athletes for Special Olympics or local Special Olympic activities). Being creative is a plus!   This report is due to Director of Junior Clubs postmarked on or before March 15. To be judged by Director of Junior Clubs.

Wonderwoman-POW!

This will be awarded to the General Club that overall best incorporates the Junior Director’s Special Program focusing on Special Olympics (including intellectual disabilities) by fundraising, in-kind support or volunteering at an athletic event for this population in their community(programs that prepare athletes for Special Olympics or local Special Olympic activities). Being creative is a plus!   This report is due to Director of Junior Clubs postmarked on or before March 15. To be judged by Director of Junior Clubs.

Superhereos-ZAP!

This will be awarded to the General Clubs or Junior Clubs or Juniorette Clubs which report the best joint project undertaken by 2 or more Clubs working together to focus on the Junior Director’s Special Project, Special Olympics (including intellectual disabilities). This project is a joint venture and clubs must submit one report, written together, and signed by the participating Club presidents, briefly describing the manner in which they worked together. Being creative is a plus!  Report is due to Director of Junior Clubs postmarked on or before March 15. To be judged by Director of Junior Clubs.
