Misty Konow - North Central District President

Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Misty Konow moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1997 and moved to Rock Hill in 2000. She and her husband, Dr. Frank Konow, are chiropractors and practice together in Rock Hill. They have a 9 year old son, Jude.

Misty graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French and was working on her Masters in Adult Education when she decided to change course and attend chiropractic school. She graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2000 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

She is a member of the Junior Woman's Club of Rock Hill and is currently serving as the club's secretary. She has served various positions within the club, including president, since joining in 2001. She has served GFWC-SC in many positions such as:  Scholarship Committee, State Elections Committee and multiple CSP Chairs. She also represented GFWC-SC as the 2001 LEADS candidate.

Misty is a very active member of her community. She is the longest serving member of the board for The Palmetto School at the Children's Attention Home, a board member for Rock Hill and Lancaster Civitan Clubs and is the immediate Past Governor of the South Carolina District Civitans.
